The clinic and masterclasses are beneficial for different reasons. The 8-hour clinic is great for initial training instruction and in-person interaction. The masterclass is the best way to make training changes become permanent muscle memory due to the structured homework drills and step-by-step coach guidance.
This is a great time to join. The exercises take about 30 minutes and can be done before practice. Because you're in season, you can immediately apply what you're learning during your practice reps.
Power Hitting focuses on hitting mechanics to avoid injury and hit the ball harder. The Vertical Jump Masterclass focuses on volleyball-specific exercises to improve your vertical.
While it's best to complete the 8 weeks continuously, life happens. Simply continue the program when you return — your progress is saved.
No. You're welcome to attend any Zoom MC session after your 8-week training is over. It's a great way to keep developing your mechanics, and newer athletes benefit from seeing more experienced athletes in action.
You really just need a space to do your approach and swing in the air. A tethered ball or hook helps, along with a small volleyball to throw. No fancy gym equipment required.
Yes. Almost all of our athletes train from home. You just need a space to throw a ball, hit in the air, and complete an approach. A simple drop-down net in the garage works perfectly. You do NOT have to buy high-end items.
The homework and feedback are done three times per week on your athlete's own schedule. The LIVE training sessions are NOT mandatory, but we highly recommend attending at least 1 per week. Athletes who attend the LIVE sessions consistently progress at a significantly greater rate.
The training program from a clinic covers the 3 key components from that session. The Master Class is a higher level — a deep dive progressing through all the fine details of attacking mechanics: arm pattern, hip and shoulder separation, and rotational power. It's a full breakdown of each component, progressively brought together in the air over 8 weeks.
The Master Class is a rolling registration process. Once your athlete begins, they progress through the 8 weeks on their own personal schedule. The LIVE Zoom sessions include athletes at all levels, so any athlete can attend and receive personal feedback wherever they are in their journey.
Athletes must be at least 13 years old. It's important they can focus and concentrate during the intensive training we provide. For our clinics, we cap at age 18.
The Masterclass is for all levels — no specific experience required. As long as your athlete has an open mind and is determined to improve, they will succeed in this course.
In the first few weeks, homework sessions take about 30 minutes, 3x per week. Starting around week 5, the commitment increases to about an hour per session. We suggest committing to one hour, 3 times per week, for 8 weeks.
